On Track Summer Cycling Tips
Summer’s coming up on June 21, what health conscious choices are you going to make? Or are you going to become one of the statistics mentioned above?
- Be physically active every day for at least 30 minutes -your body will LOVE YOU!
- Eat more fruit and vegetables daily -your body will love you even more!
- Reach for and drink those 8 glasses of water a day -you’ll be amazed at how much clearer you can think!
- Stretch before and after playing baseball, soccer or another activity -be kind to your body
- Play outside with your kids and let them decide what to play -regress and be a kid again
- Turn off the cell phone, Blackberry, iPhone on the weekend -be present and connected with friends and family –I dare you to try this one!
- Learn to meditate and take a yoga class -stretch your limits
- Take care of your annual dental, optometrist, and doctor appointments -don’t put them off!
- Use sunscreen and wear a hat -this is going to be an amazing hot summer
